Most of the times my download speeds are less than a megabit when using DD-WRT or Fresh Tomato FW, however after unlugging and plugging back the WAN cable several times speeds get back to normal. I've already did NVRAM erases on both FWs, it only affects download side and it's mostly noticeable on single threaded downloads where it gets awfully
